The final chapter
The ending of this novel is very nerve wrecking because of everything happening. Gatsby gets killed then there is a flashback of Gatsby's funeral. His own dad didn't even realize what happened to his son. I really have no predictions for the character's lives beyond this point. But, let me just say, I hope there is a happily ever after for everyone else and there is no more drama. I did like the book but I really wished Gatsby didn't die; when that happened I was heartbroken. It's like watching a movie and then your favorite star of it getting killed off. It's very upsetting. I did like this project; it was a lot of fun. I do wish that I would have been more timely on the blogging though.

I know how you feel, it was a little unsettling how Gatsby died, but I feel as though he had to die in order to move forward in the story. With the death of Gatsby ends the rumors and drama that were spreading around which leads me to believe that Gatsby was the source of all this drama. Had he not existed, would Daisy just have moved on with her life as normal and marry Tom or could there been someone else she loved? Either way Gatsby's death was heartbreaking as you said and I agree with your statements.
