Chapter 7
Chapter 7 of Gatsby left me with multiple questions. Did Daisy really mean to hit Myrtle? What will happen after everyone find out about her death? In conclusion, I think that Mr. Wilson is going to find out about his wife's death and then confront the person who did it. I don't know how Tom will take the news since he was having an affair with Myrtle, hopefully he takes it better than Mr. Wilson. I wasn't exactly sure about everything that happened in this chapter though, so it left me very confused. Here's a quote from chapter 7 of Great Gatsby, "Nick asks "'Was Daisy driving?' [Gatsby says] 'Yes,' he said after a moment, 'but of course I'll say I was. You see, when we left New York she was very nervous and she though it would steady her to drive'". From this quote, I understood that Gatsby took the blame for Daisy and told everyone he was driving the car.
